I've been getting enquiries about the current stock levels of the train controllers.
Due to rising costs, these will be the last of the train controllers, unless circumstances change. Thank you all for the support of these products, and the wonderful feedback I've gotten. They have certainly been popular, and that is personally very gratifying.
Scamps are coming back into stock. They are being built in batches and will be added to the inventory on Tindie as they become available. A big shout out to Shane Lowry for his great help with this build.
Just an update on the Scamps: due to supply problems, it's looking like mid-late August until they are back in stock. Thank you for your patience!
The Scamp circuit boards have arrived (late), and there are manufacturing problems with them. As they are, they are not useable and certainly not fit to send to customers. I've contacted the PCB house in China and I'm attempting to resolve the issue with them.
On a side note, if anyone knows of decent PCB/PCA house that is NOT in China, and does reasonable work at a reasonable price, please get in touch!
For those waiting for Scamps and controllers, they are almost here. The circuit boards were fabricated a week ago, and took one day to get to Australia... and then... they sat in Customs for a week. Hopefully they should be in my hands on July 14, and then give me a few days to do assembly. Scamps will be the first to be built, and then the controllers. There are two new controller designs in the works, so they will require new code and testing. Give me a week or two.
